Join ITV.Your impact sends ripples.The teamChannel operations are responsible for creating the schedules that ensure our programmes are available on the right channel, at the right time whether that’s on ITVX or our range of linear channels.The roleYou’ll be working with a mix of internal and external teams to create accurate, optimal and compliant schedules for both our linear and VOD channels. You’ll use bespoke scheduling tools and work with a range of stakeholders to bring together the strategies of commercial, marketing and programme strategy, with the viewer experience at the forefront of what you do. It takes a very keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills and an ability to remain calm under pressure. You’ll be at the sharp end of ensuring our viewers can watch their favourite programme when they want, be that on traditional linear channels at a specific time, or on ITVX at a time of their choosing.Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)

• Excellent attention to detail – accuracy in your work is critical in this role.
• Highly organised – able to multitask and prioritise a busy workload
• Well developed communication skills, able to work with a range of internal and external stakeholders using varied communication techniques including face to face, phone calls and emails.
• Very good standard of Maths and English is essential
• Computer literate and keen to use new technologies
• Resilience – you’ll be able to remain calm and positive, especially under pressure or when things don’t go to plan

Other things we’re looking for (key criteria)

• Experience dealing with large volumes of data and able to retain information
• Knowledge of ITV programmes and platforms is preferable
• Experience in a busy scheduling environment is preferable
• Proactive and approachable – happy to muck in and take part in projects, willing to work across teams, help out team members and learn new skills
• Resourceful – always looking for improvements to processes and workflows
• Enthusiastic and motivated – able to work as part of a team or independently and willing to go the extra mile when needed
• Experienced in and able to embrace change positively – we work in a fast paced environment where change is part of the day job
