Key Responsibilities:

• Set up equipment and materials needed for practical science lessons and demonstrations.
• Ensure all materials are ready and in good working condition prior to lessons.
• Provide support to teaching staff and pupil’s during practical experiments and investigations.
• Demonstrate the correct use of equipment and techniques to pupil’s.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure equipment is safe and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage the storage and disposal of hazardous materials according to safety guidelines.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness and tidiness in laboratories and preparation areas.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• A passion for science and a commitment to supporting educational goals.

Requirements:

• An Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to undertake one (we can help with this).
• Legal right to work in the UK.
• Comprehensive CV covering the last 10 years of education/employment history with any breaks explained.
