Job Description

We offer a merit-based work-from-home program based on job responsibilities. After initial training in-person, this specific role could have the flexibility to work from home up to 3 days a week.

Auto-Owners Insurance, a top-rated insurance carrier, is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Section Specialist. The position requires the person to:

  • Expertly perform a variety of complex and specialized duties, which require a thorough knowledge of the function performed.
  • Effectively communicate by phone or letters as requested
  • May be responsible for the direction and training of others.
  • Assists with other duties as assigned within the department or elsewhere on request.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • High school education or its equivalent is preferred.
  • Three or four years of job related experience and some educational course work is desirable.
  • The ability to understand and carry out complex verbal and/or written instructions.
