SEN Teaching Assistant – Join Us in Changing Lives!Location: Wakefield, West Yorkshire
Salary: £11.72 – £12.78 per hour (Actual salary: £19,370.70 – £21,122.66, based on experience)
Hours: 37 hours per week – Term Time OnlyAre you driven to make a difference for students with special educational needs? • Learning Support: Partner with teachers to foster an engaging classroom experience.
• Personalised Assistance: Offer customised support for small groups or one-on-one sessions.
• Build Supportive Relationships: Create an inclusive environment that makes students feel valued and supported.
• Encourage Positive Behaviour: Implement strategies tailored to individual needs.
• Personal Care Support: Assist with personal care while maintaining student dignity.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience with SEN students.
• Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (preferred).
• GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C/Level 2 or above).
• A solid understanding of safeguarding practices.
• Adaptable approach to diverse learning needs.
