Are you passionate about working with children with special educational needs? GSL Education is hiring a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive team in a special school in Kingston.About the Role:Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting students with SEND, such as SEMH and MLD, to overcome barriers to learning.
• Providing tailored one-on-one and group support in the classroom.
• Collaborating with teachers to adapt lessons to meet individual needs.
• Encouraging students’ confidence, independence, and overall well-being.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in an SEN environment is beneficial but not essential.
• A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection is vital.
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive and empathetic approach to supporting students.
