Job DescriptionSenior Account Director, Brand, Consumer TechnologySUMMARYJob Title: Senior Account Director, Brand, Consumer TechnologyReports to: Head of Brand & European CRM LenovoAbout the role:Do you love consumer tech and what it can do for people? Do you love a 5* review as much as hosting media in NYC with Paris Hilton? Then it’s your lucky day. We’re after a passionate and capable consumer tech guru to work on the UK business of one of our biggest and most ambitious clients.This is an important role in a large client ecosystem, requiring strong collaboration, organisation, team management and client relationship building. It needs a creative thinker with knowledge and passion for the whole earned media landscape, ready to create and activate work for two of the world’s biggest brands in computing and mobile technology – it’s an amazing role with a second-to-none team and client.You will ideally have:Consumer tech experience: Experience in leading busy B2C communications campaigns for world-leading technology brands, and a broad understanding of B2B for purposes of team integrationExpert knowledge: Know consumer technology and gaming media and culture, with a little black book of top tier contacts and an understanding of how media strategies are developed and executedCreation to activation: Ability to take a brief and lead team from ideation to campaign development and activation (with support from client CRM)Confidence in leading: Be a strong team leader, managing multiple client accounts, meeting deadlines and getting the best from your teamCreative thinking: Be fascinated with trending stories, sharing them with the team and using your deep understanding to create stories that both media and audiences wantStrong written skills: Strong writing and editing skills across a range of content (e.g. bylines, comments, media pitches) with an enthusiasm for thinking beyond media e.g. using owned channels, influencers, social, events and other routes to reach audiencesPassion for integrated work: Including topline knowledge of the broader marketing mix, alongside how, when and where earned has its roleStrong team building/bonding skills: Great interpersonal skills and love of working within a team so you can collaborate with the broader agency, content creators, creatives, designers, etc. to deliver great workClient partnership: Really care about clients and who they are, building longstanding and trusted relationships and be able to provide strong client consultancy when neededStellar organisational skills: Strong project management prowess and a mindset to treat deadlines seriously and know how to deliver against themWhat You Need:It would be advantageous to have experience in PC, mobile and/or gaming, but not imperative.
