The company is looking for someone who has proven experience working in Accounts, with knowledge of SAP and who is a driver as travel to various branches is necessary!The Senior Accountant responsibilities include:

• Monthly management accounts
• Profit & Loss and balance sheet reporting
• Purchase ledger – including raising purchase orders, posting invoices, reconciliations, payment runs
• Sales ledger – including creation of invoices, credit control, reconciliations
• Bank postings and reconciliations
• Collate payroll information for external payroll consultants, pay HMRC and payroll payments
• Creation and submission of VAT returns
• Fixed asset register and depreciation postings
• Accruals and prepayments
• Stock reporting
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Work with auditors, parent company and tax advisors
• Preparation of forecasts and budgets.

Skills Needed:

• Experience within a similar role is critical – 2 years minimum.
• SAP experience is ideal.
• Ideally AAT qualified
• Exceptional communication skills are necessary as communicating with clients and colleagues is a key part of the role.
• An excellent attention to detail, accuracy and a high degree of numeracy and literacy are key.
