Senior ADAS Engineer required in the Shropshire area!!!We are proud to be working with a market leading business in Shropshire helping them to recruit a Senior ADAS Engineer to join their Centre of Excellence in Shropshire.This is a unique opportunity to contribute to pioneering advancements in the UK and European markets, working in a state-of-the-art facility in a small team of 10.The hiring manager is looking for someone who has previous ADAS & Robotics Engineering experience, and you should be well versed in ROS2, Linux and capabilities of nVIDIA platfoms.Sponsorship can not be offered for this vacancy, and the hiring manager is looking for someone who can be office based the majority of the working week, some hybrid/remote working opportunities could be available for the right person.What You Will Do:

• Take ownership of the Guidance Control Unit, driving forward autonomous developments.
• Define and align software architecture across various layers of ADAS including Vision, Perception, and Actuation.
• Maintain base system software and manage dependencies across global partners and suppliers.
• Verify and validate module level software releases, ensuring excellence in software integration and build.
• Lead Guidance Software release and change management processes.
• Supervise and mentor a junior engineer, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.

What You Will Bring:

• A Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics, or Computer Science with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in ROS2, Linux for Tegra, and familiarity with nVIDIA AGX Orin/XAVIER platforms.
• Comprehensive understanding of the autonomy software stack and its foundational elements.
• Proficiency in software application lifecycle processes and development tools (e.g., ALM, PLM for embedded systems).
• A bonus if you have knowledge of Vision and Camera related sensors, ML/DL approaches for Autonomous driving, or Agriculture.
