As a Senior Analyst in our Capability and Operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting our technical and data processes. This includes ensuring that our core applications, operate as we need them to, our data processes are robust and resilient, and we continuously improve to achieve our personalisation goals. You will have an eye for detail and enjoy working in an environment of data, process, controls and governance. You will work with colleagues who are designing and delivering campaigns and create effective capabilities to meet our demanding campaign objectives and work closely with colleagues in Operations and Transformation to ensure our data and data solutions are developed in line with the Customer, Brand and Engagement (CBE) strategy. This includes onboarding new data, understanding data needs, building and maintaining data solutions as well as governing and controlling our data.We think every communication and interaction presents a unique opportunity to bring to life our brand promises allowing us to demonstrate our point of difference. You can also find out more about our approach to .If we receive a high volume of relevant applications, we may close the advert earlier than the advertised date, so please apply as soon as you can.What you’ll be doingYou’ll be working in a lively, supportive team that has accountability for the operational, data operations and data governance activity to support the delivery of personalisation of 1-2-1 marketing communications that deliver against our Society KPIs.You will be a subject matter expert in a small team that will take accountability for all data processes to support this 1-2-1 activity, with a particular focus on improving how we manage data for the team and reduce our reliance on ad hoc feeds. This is a busy, interesting and fast-paced role ensuring that the data foundations for 1-2-1 communications can be trusted and significantly improved over time.You will also support key projects that are outside of operational delivery, for example systems upgrades and data testing where you are part of a matrix team working to a specific project plan.About youWe’re looking for somebody who has:

  • Excellent understanding of how data is managed, transformed and governed to meet marketing needs.
  • Experience of working with data, including an excellent working knowledge of the typical data sources and processes required for 1-2-1 communications
  • Experience using SQL, SAS, Power BI/Power Query or other similar tools
  • Proven experience of working in a fast paced operational and delivery environment.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Data Protection Legislation e.g., UK GDPR and PECR and how it applies for marketing communications, particularly 1-2-1 communications.
  • Numeracy and critical thinking: you can quickly impact assess complex project requirements and work with stakeholders to find effective solutions. Able to pay attention to the detail alongside the bigger picture.
  • Experience of managing and influencing internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills and ability to manage and own multiple competing priorities and deliverables. Able to work within a well governed environment and optimise processes.
