We are a passionate, global, and fast-paced team collaborating with several strategic partners and are committed to enhancing the overall agility and survivability of the modern warfighter and tactical operator.THE OPPORTUNITYReporting to the Finance Manager and Assistant Controller, the Senior Analyst is responsible for the preparation of the consolidated financial statement and for consolidation process in an international context with multi-currencies subsidiaries. The Senior Analyst will be responsible of ensuring high quality financial information is prepared and will contribute to streamline the consolidation process.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Prepare monthly consolidation worksheets in Excel in accordance with US GAAP.
- Prepare monthly reconciliation of intercompany transactions and journal entries. Liaise with local financial controllers to solve discrepancies.
- Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements and related variance analysis on a timely basis.
- Reconcile and report on monthly capital expenditure spend to management and explain variances with budget.
- Participate in the development of accounting policies and procedures and support local financial controllers to ensure adherence.
- Participate in the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecast of balance sheet and cash flows.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting package for lenders and other financial institutions.
- Support all financial audits, including the local statutory audits and year-end corporate audit.
- Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives within the accounting department.
- Prepare ad hoc report and financial analysis on request.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEEDBachelor’s degree in AccountingCPA designation required.5+ years’ experience in in accounting required, preferably with financial reporting.Experience in consolidation of multi-currencies entities an asset.Good knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
- Collaborative working style.
- Excellent communication skills both in French and English.
