Start your journey.Amex GBT Analytics team is seeking a talented candidate for the Sr. Analytics Manager role who will play a highly influential role in shaping data-driven decision making across the business. This role requires a strong blend of analytics expertise, strategic thinking, and communication skills, driving business impact through insights collaborating with Analysts, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers in bringing data to life and influencing decisions to help deliver results.This role will require prior experience working through complex business problems with internal teams using a consultative approach. Additionally, the role would require excellent communications, presentation skills and be able to work with ambiguity and having the ability to define, think creatively, and to tackle problems.This position will be highly rewarding and lots of fun. This role represents an exciting opportunity to join AMEX GBT, as we define the future of business travel as we lead the industry into a new era.What you will do on a Typical DayKey point of contact with Commercial stakeholders to define problems, frame analytical approaches, and drive strategic recommendations.Translate complex analytical findings into compelling, actionable insights for senior executives and non-technical audiences.Work with data governance to enhance data availability, quality and accessibility.Act as a thought leader in commercial analytics, guiding best practices across the customer life cycle.Passionate storytelling and bringing data to life by partnering with key stakeholders.Translate Voice of Customer insights into actionable commercial strategies, improving customer satisfaction and retention.What We’re Looking ForRelevant master’s degree with the combination of a Business degree or any of the following fields: Machine Learning or computer science, statistics, mathematics with strong understanding of business and ML.Solid understanding of Machine Learning models and techniques, advanced analytics and statistical methods to solve business problems.8+ years of work experience in a business environment with an analytics background.Passionate storytelling and articulation by bringing data to life!Very strong programming background and expertise in using SQL.Skillful in influence and relationship management skills; comfortable interacting across all levels of stakeholders.Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle ambiguity.Sharp focus on results and strong attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communications.Location London, United KingdomThe #TeamGBT ExperienceWork and life: Find your happy medium at Amex GBT.Flexible benefits are tailored to each country and start the day you do.
