In particular, that includes creating an equitable, inclusive and growth-focused environment for our people.About this teamThe Global Brand Technology team at lululemon oversees and supports the Brand Digital Asset Management, Social Impact, and Ambassador team technology solutions.As a Senior Architect in the Global Brand Technology team, you will be acting as an overall Solutions Architect to interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Project Lifecycle including solution architecture definition, architecture requirements refinement, design, and development. You will ensure that solutions are well designed using best practices to meet the scalability, security and reliability for growing global eCommerce and Brand. You will be supported by a diverse Architecture Community of Practice, which provides learning and governance resources to all architects and will help you build a strong and robust practice of leadership grounded in technical proficiency, innovative thinking and empathy.A day in the life:As a Senior Architect, you are responsible for leading the solution design of features that span applications and services across teams. You partner closely with Engineers, Analysts, Business units, Product Management and other Architects to bring projects from concept to implementation. Your solutions will be aligned with Digital Architecture strategy and consider business needs, timeline, and quality.You are proactive in reaching out to architects and leaders in teams with which your technology integrates and you drive results through strong cross-functional collaboration. You serve as the organization’s subject matter expert for Brand Technology capabilities and work actively within the Architecture Community of Practice.You will also share exciting new patterns and technologies with the team and will partner with engineering leadership on technical roadmapsKey Responsibilities:

  • In partnership with Business Analysts, Project Managers, Product Owners, Engineers and other Architects, you provide leadership in defining project requirements and success criteria along with guiding the design throughout the development lifecycle
  • Serve as primary technical solution design architect for several teams and their systems and integrations
  • Serve as primary decision escalation resource for addressing architecture and integration issues affecting the team
  • Ensure integration of solutions with existing and future systems and applications, such as content management systems, marketing automation platforms, and other relevant tools.
  • Lead design and implementation of robust DAM solutions that enhance our organization’s ability to manage, organize, and optimize digital assets efficiently.
  • Participate and present at architecture design reviews
  • Report technical concepts and overall system design, health and stability directly to Director-level stakeholders.
  • Continuously drive improvements in performance, security, automation, quality, monitoring, and reliability of platforms
  • Develop and maintains current and future-state architecture models and keep them up to date
  • Evaluate, document, and escalate alterations to future state architectures
  • Keep up with industry best practices, technologies, architectures, trends, emerging technologies, and develop proof of concept projects to validate new ideas
  • Support team members in getting unblocked as problems arise.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant industry experience in information / computer technology field.
  • 5+ years demonstrating a high degree of proficiency in designing, developing, deploying, scaling and maintaining complex, high quality enterprise solutions on cloud-based architecture.
  • 3+ years experience in developing technology roadmap and driving strategy discussions.
  • Relevant industry experience is preferred, with prior experience developing solutions for retail or eCommerce businesses.
  • Deep hands-on experience using compute, networking, storage, and database components in one of the major cloud platforms: Amazon AWS (preferred), Microsoft Azure (preferred), GCP or Alibaba Cloud
  • Experience with major Asset and Content Management tools
  • Extensive experience and deep understanding of digital asset management concepts, workflows, best practices, metadata management, and taxonomy design.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices related to data compliance, security, and privacy, ensuring systems and solutions adhere to regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction be a self-starter with strong initiative, and ability to manage/execute workload to deliver high quality results
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalism in working collaboratively at all levels inside and outside of the organization.

Compensation and Benefits Packagelululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $123,500-$162,100 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
