Senior Architect (Residential)

A Senior Architect vacancy required to join one of the finest Architectural practices in the north of England, as they look to bolster their emerging team in Manchester with a Residential specialist.

They have an excellent reputation and are overseen by some of the UK’s brightest, leading, creative minds. They feature regularly in the AJ100 rankings and are looking to continually grow their design team by hiring the most talented Architects to join their team.

Whilst they have a history steeped in their connection to other design sectors (Commercial, Healthcare, Education, etc), their aspirations are to really focus on Residential design in their Manchester studio over the coming months. For this reason, they are looking to recruit an established Senior Architect that can support the existing team and offer opportunities for further growth into this sector.

In summary, this company are a real industry leader. They are looking for a Senior Architect with a passion for Residential Architecture to join their Manchester team. A breakdown of important criteria are listed below:

• ARB/RIBA Chartership preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience.
• Proven experience working in the Residential sector (Housing, PRS, Medium/high-rise).
• Awareness of the challenges associated with the Residential market in the North-West.
• Experience leading a team of Architectural professionals. Comfortable in a Senior role.
• Proven job-running capabilities.
• Ambitions to grow and manage a small design team.
• Relevant software knowledge where appropriate (REVIT, CAD, etc).
