The Impact You’ll Be Contributing to Moloco:
We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join Moloco’s Streaming Monetization (MSM) team working on our Streaming & OTT platform, the first ML-driven monetization platform that allows leading streaming media and OTT companies to leverage the same state-of-the-art technology stack that Moloco uses to drive our own ML-powered performance ads business. In this role you will work closely with our sales teams to give them the data points and analytics insights they need to recommend strategies to our partners.
The Opportunity:
- Work closely with Growth Managers to help advertisers improve campaign performance and maximize their business goals with Moloco.
- Engage in the life cycle of campaigns, from monitoring daily performance to partnering with sales teams on bespoke analysis for clients.
- Identify any specific segments where campaigns might be underperforming (compared to similar campaigns) and make recommendations to the product and engineering teams.
- Build dashboards, automated reports, and insights to help the partner teams understand how our products are performing.
- Where appropriate, communicate analysis, insights, and recommendations to client stakeholders.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to help Moloco focus on decisions that improve our products and services, with a focus on client growth.
How Do I Know if the Role is Right For Me?
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Data Sciences) with 5+ years work experience in data analytics.
- Experience using statistical packages/programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python), plus knowledge and experience of statistics fundamentals including hypothesis testing, regression, and time-series analysis.
- Ability to pull data from large datasets and use statistics and analytical techniques to arrive at recommendations.
- Experience analyzing advertising campaign performance data, and command over core advertising performance metrics.
- Comfortable balancing multiple projects simultaneously and effectively prioritizing work based on business needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to present information and analysis results effectively to technical and non technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and cross-cultural partners.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a growth mindset.
