As part of the team that deliver this, you’ll be focused on growing our merchant base relying on your well-honed business development, partnering and sales skills, as well as influencing the product development roadmap. You’ll be directly responsible for generating merchant growth at scale, to target consumer credit audiences, helping our merchant clients, boost both sales and customer loyalty.This is an exciting opportunity to be a key part of a major growth area of the business and you should also expect to play a role in supporting new strategic channel partnership opportunities within the senior Embedded Finance BD team.You’ll deliver

  • Transformational growth, working alongside our channel partners (e.g. Lloyds Bank) to drive in embedded finance through best-in-class sales efforts and techniques.

Researching target organisations, understanding sector specific challenges and, in collaboration with our channel partners, supporting the sales cycles and pitches to target merchants. Building relationships with key people at channel partnerships, you’ll work with them to create and deliver efficient go-to-market strategies to penetrate the target merchant base.Understanding how embedded finance products and pricing can be tailored to meet the merchants’ needs; drive sales and customer engagement.Negotiating sometimes complex contracts through to win-win positions, success and signature and supporting each partner or merchant through to successful launch.What you’ll bringWe need knowledge, experience + expertise in:

  • Digital payments / BNPL / retail finance / payment processing / consumer credit expertise (B2B mindset)

Successful business development, partnerships or strategic sales experienceExperience of operating within a regulated sectorAnd would love you to know or learn:

  • Sales, account management or partnerships in the retail finance or BNPL sectors
