We’re seeking a Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer with a strong background in data visualization and reporting with a passion for process improvement and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating reports that drive business decisions to the top level of their organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Reporting: Oversee the reporting for all MRA, IPA, and ACO data topics.
Stakeholder Management: Ensure the successful implementation of BI solutions in accordance with stakeholder requirements
Leadership: Mentor small team to ensure efficient and effective team performance and reporting consistency across all data topics
Process Improvement: Establish robust processes for change notifications, document all artifacts, and create a scalable BI platform that allows for data discovery and positive business and clinical outcomes
Issue Resolution: Triage production support issues and become a subject matter expert for all population health reporting
Public Speaking: Be able to demonstrate productionized BI solutions to all levels of the organization

Required Qualifications:
Minimum of three years’ experience in data operations, modeling, reporting/visualization
Proficiency in cloud-based SQL Environments (BigQuery, Snowflake, or RedShift)
Minimum of three years’ experience in business intelligence reporting system (Power BI or Tableau)
Understanding of SCRUM/Agile methodologies
Experience analyzing data, research/analytics, and competitive intelligence to solve a wide variety of business problems and/or identify actionable opportunities
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong proficiency in verbal and written communication to senior and executive leadership
Experience in healthcare data operations
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience with at least 1 non-SQL language (preferably Python or R)
Work at Home Requirements
To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria:
At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested
Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership
Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$78,800 – $108,500 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
