As a member of the ABF Group, we oversee indirect expenditure across eleven manufacturing facilities, presenting you with opportunities to shape procurement strategies, build important relationships, and contribute to major projects.The Role:As Senior Category Manager, you will:
- Develop and Implement category strategies across Capital, Indirect, and Packaging
- Facilitate negotiations and oversee supplier relationships to enhance value and reduce risk.
- Work closely with key stakeholders including transport managers, engineering managers, finance teams, and health & safety representatives.
- Support major capital projects, ensuring budget compliance and risk mitigation.
- Oversee and guide a direct report, enhancing their performance and career growth.
- Champion digital innovation, including eSourcing and AI within procurement.
- Collaborate across the wider ABF Group to leverage buying power and best practices.
What We’re Looking For:
- 10+ years of procurement experience, with at least 6 years in category management
- Extensive contract negotiation skills and experience in supplier relationship management
- Background in manufacturing, engineering, transport, or supply chain
- A diligent professional who thrives in a stimulating and evolving environment.
- A self-starter who thrives in a challenging and dynamic environment.
