Job Description

As a Senior Cloud Network Security Engineer, you will be a part of a smart cross-functional team delivering digital business transformation solutions to our clients. You’ll have the unique opportunity to increase engineering team productivity by reviewing, developing, and implementing resilient, secure cloud architectures, solutions, and products within some of the world’s largest brands.

• Cybersecurity Fundamentals: Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat landscape, risk management, and compliance requirements (such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS).
• Security Architecture Design: Proficiency in designing secure cloud architectures, including network security, identity and access management (IAM), data protection, encryption, and secure application development practices.
• Network Security: Expertise in designing secure cloud network architectures including VPCs, virtual network segmentation, network security groups (NSGs), Cloud Firewalls, VPN gateways, IDS/IPS, and DDoS protection.
• Data Security and Encryption: Knowledge of data protection techniques such as encryption, data masking, tokenization, and data loss prevention (DLP)
• Identity and Access Management (IAM): Ability to design and implement robust identity solutions, including role-based access control (RBAC), multi-factor authentication (MFA), conditional access policies, and identity federation.
• Compliance and Governance: Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements and best practices for ensuring Cloud environments meet industry standards and regulatory mandates. This includes knowledge of Azure Policy, Azure Blueprints, and compliance assessment tools.

Qualifications

•       Must have: Deep knowledge of AWS with specific emphasis on Networking 
•       Must have: Able Ability to create, review and update network designs in AWS
•       Must have: Experience with Shared VPCs, Transit Gateway, Firewalls, private service access
•       Must have: Experience of Interconnects and HA-VPN
•       Must have: Knowledge of how to configure external hub and spoke ingress/egress, 
•       Must have: Experience of working in a highly regulated environments such as banking, financial services, or government (regional / network borders etc.)
•       Must have: Hands on Knowledge of Terraform AND CI/CD processes
•       Prefer to have: Experience with multiple cloud service providers (AWS, GCP, and Azure specifically)
•       Nice to have: AWS Certifications in networking a bonus
•       Nice to have: Strong knowledge of AWS DNS services
•       Nice to have: Security certifications (CISSP, GIAC, Security+, etc.)

Additional Information

Pay Range: $108,000 – $210,000

The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
