Are you ready to accept our challenge?We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Engineer to play a pivotal role in supporting the Construction Manager with the preparation and delivery of work packs, RAMS, and other critical project documentation. The successful candidate will actively participate in construction and document review meetings as outlined by the contract, collaborating closely with HSE, QA, and QC teams to ensure best practices are applied during documentation compilation and construction phases. Additionally, they will oversee the practical implementation on-site, ensuring that construction documentation remains current and optimally suited for project delivery. This role is key in driving efficiency and contributing to the overall value and success of the contract.
Experience + 4 years in construction document delivery
Applicants should have a proven track record within the construction industry and be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills. Be IT literate and conversant with work pack and RAM compilation. The candidate will have experience working on major projects with a `can do` flexible approach to change when required.
Accountabilities:
- Provide and demonstrate a positive HSE leadership, building a strong and compliant HS&E culture throughout the whole construction life cycle of the Project.
- Delivery of construction related documents from start to completion
- Support the planning and execution of construction on a day-to-day basis.
- Liaison and support functions along with the Clients stakeholders at construction meetings.
- Maintaining compliance to the site security process
- Provide support to the Management Team with strategy and construction aspects
- Project the Company, Programme and Clients image to the Public and other their party key stakeholders by ensuring effective communications and maintaining positive relationships
Key deliverables:
- Promote and maintain health and safety, including site inspections to ensure safety rules are being implemented in support of a positive Nuclear Safety Culture.
- Delivery of Construction related document from conception to conclusion
- Stakeholder management interface support
- Ensure compliance with all nuclear safety and site licence requirements.
- Work in conjunction with QA/QC to ensure completed documentation is entered into close out packs
- Actively contribute to site visits to ensure the activities emulate detail in RAMS methods and permits
Qualifications & experience: HNC or relevant extensive proven experience. Conversant with permits, IT MS office software package relevant to document processes systems.Altrad is an equal opportunity employer.
