Transforming performance for a green, inclusive and productive world.Job DescriptionProgramme Advisory teamWe are seeking people with experience in the gas sector that want to progress their careers working across a variety of sectors and project types.Joining the Programme Advisory team will afford you exciting opportunities to directly support world renowned clients, enhance your consulting skills, shape your career, and directly contribute to the team’s exciting growth trajectory.The Regulation & Assurance Programme Advisory team specialises in supplying strategic advisory and assurance services to regulators for major programmes and asset owning enterprises within the utilities, transport, telecoms and power sectors in the UK and internationally.Our diverse and growing team of experts positively influence others and have an inclusive culture, bringing innovative thinking to some of the world’s most complex problems.Over the last 12 months, we have secured a range of key opportunities as we continue to expand, we are hiring people with specific sector experience to work across our existing projects and help us secure future opportunities. This is an exciting time to join us as we take our growth to the next level.Job Description:As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work across a wide variety of sectors and projects.More specifically, you may be:

  • Identifying and implementing strategies that improve governance, operational performance and/or reporting;
  • Looking at how regulation and policy impacts on companies and other stakeholders;
  • Supporting companies in the development of their periodic business plans or investment programmes;
  • Helping develop robust forecasts, programmes, business cases, etc. to secure specific funding;
  • Auditing or reviewing submissions from companies to determine if they align with regulatory requirements and expectations;
  • Working directly for regulators to deliver strategic sector goals; and/or
  • Supporting business development activities and the wider Programme Advisory team around the UK.

We are stronger together and work well to collaboratively deliver tangible outcomes both internally and externally.We work flexibly but aim to meet in the Birmingham office once or twice a week. Please note though, successful candidates may need to travel as per client / project requirements.QualificationsWe are open to a wide range of experiences and knowledge, but you must have experience in the gas, and ideally onshore networks sectors.Essential:

  • Gas sector experience.
  • Business analysis skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Able to deliver at pace, self-start and have a great sense of personal accountability. The ideal candidate will have experience of regulatory business planning, capital delivery, operations, customer service, regulation, or asset management with an ability to diagnose performance improvement opportunities and deliver the changes needed to realise them.Additional InformationOur inspired people share our vision and mission.
