Contract Senior Data Engineer | Leicester | Hybrid (1 day a week in) | £450-£500/day Inside IR35We’re excited to be hiring a Senior Data Engineer for a financial services company undergoing a major data transformation. Your Role:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure.
• Guide tool selection for optimal performance.
• Establish robust data quality and integrity standards, ensuring accurate, reliable data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.

What We’re Looking For:

• Extensive experience in cloud-based data engineering.
• Hands-on expertise with ETL/ELT processes, data modelling, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with data warehouse solutions (BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift).
• Knowledge of workflow automation (Airflow, DBT, Luigi) and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Pulumi).
• Strong communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical teams.
