What you’ll doAs a Senior Data Scientist working with eyeo, you will be working on a wide range of projects from developing models for real time bidding, to conducting A/B tests, automating existing work, providing stakeholders with analysis and building data products, amongst other tasks.
Your day-to-day activities:
- Optimize business processes and improve operational efficiency by identifying opportunities for automation
- Create and analyze A/B tests to help engineering and product teams make decisions, and iterate and improve our products.
- Design and develop algorithms for our core business including regressions, image processing, forecasting and real-time bidding. i.e bid flooring and traffic shaping algorithms
- Think beyond “just the model” by challenging existing product features, and building data-backed business cases to shape product roadmaps
- Work with engineering teams to enhance data collection strategy and processes
What you bring to the table
- At least 4 years of relevant industry experience
- Undergraduate degree in a STEM program
- Strong skills with Python and SQL
- Extensive background in statistical analysis, machine learning and data mining
- Excellent applied statistics skills, such as hypothesis testing, experimental design and sample size determination
- Experience with big data and model optimization
- Ability to explain findings in layman’s terms, both verbally (including written form) and visually
Bonus if you have
- Understanding of the ad tech ecosystem and/or ad tech experience
- Experience with GCP, airflow
