We are working with a well-established, family-owned national main contractor who are currently looking for an experienced Design Manager to join their office in Central Scotland.Our Client:

  • The business turnover circa £120 million
  • They have a proven track record in delivering projects within the public and private sector

  • They have a secured pipeline of work offering job role stability

This role is ideal for candidates with an Architectural or Design Management background ready to lead the design process and foster effective communication between design and site teams from the pre-construction phase through to final handover.The Design Manager will:

  • Ensure that the project design adheres to the established program as well as regulatory standards
  • Implement updates as necessary to maintain high excellence in project delivery
  • Ensure that designs are communicated clearly to site teams for effective implementation
  • Work closely with supply chain partners to confirm their delivery aligns with agreed specifications
  • Have a relevant educational background, such as architecture, and experience with a recognized main contractor
  • Have a track record of managing both public and private sector projects
  • Possess strong skills in BIM, AutoCAD, and other industry-standard software
  • Have excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with the project delivery team

This role offers:

  • A salary up to £65,000 dependent on experience.
