DESCRIPTIONAmazon Security Finance is looking for a Senior Finance Manager who embodies the Amazon Leadership Principles of Customer Obsession, Ownership and Think Big.The Senior Finance Manager will provide financial insights and business partnership to Amazon CISO for Devices, Ads, Games Media and Entertainment, AGI businesses plus the centralized Amazon Foundational Security Services (AFSS) team. This high visibility finance role will provide reliable data and analysis to help with decision making and planning, as well as become a world class business advisor to the Amazon CISO’s for Devices and the security leaders. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, comfortable with ambiguity, and interested in learning about information security (prior security knowledge not required). They possess a keen attention to detail, have a passion for analytics and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. The role entails interaction with Director and VP security leadership and requires a balance of strong communication and partnership skills, and inventing new processes.Key job responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
– Serve as the key finance partner supporting the Specialized Security Business and AFSS leaders, including input on business strategy, team development, and management of planning processes.
– Influence business decisions with effective verbal and written communication, data driven analysis and modeling, and presentation of options and alternatives.
– Own the annual, quarterly, and monthly budgeting processes that include headcount management, software, professional services, and AWS services (aka AWS infrastructure spend).
– Drive long term NPV analysis and strategic financial direction. Implement control and compliance mechanisms.
– Manage a team to effectively address priorities and provide career coaching.
– Develop scalable solutions that utilize the highest standards of analytical rigor and data integrity.
– Perform various ad hoc analyses to help leaders solve business problems and understand the financial implications.
– Be able to thrive and deliver results in an ambiguous, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS– 10+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
– 10+ years of positions that require analysis and reporting financial results experience
– 8+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
– 8+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
– Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related fieldPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS– 5+ years of hiring, leading and developing teams experience
– 8+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
– 5+ years of working with senior staff (e.g. c-suite) experience

The base pay for this position ranges from $137,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $227,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
