  • Collaborates with the Manager, Budget and Financial Analysis and applicable staff in development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of Responsibility Center Management (RCM) budget model.
  • Responsible for calculating the actual overheads by Program Org and upload on to Millennium FAST or Banner systems as required.
  • Be the single point contact on Actual Enrolment and variance analysis for the FPA & R Department.
  • Develops and implements financial models, conducts user requirement analysis to determine users’ business needs, builds, tests, updates and maintains revenue and cost simulation models.
  • Leads the effort for financial evaluation of new program proposals by the FPA & R Department.
  • Analyzes the assigned sections of the Statement of Operations during the year, prepares year-end full program costs accurately and on a timely basis for the submission to the Deans and Senior Management as well as the interim operating budgeted operating statements.
  • Provides guidance, leadership and assistance to the budget holders and other Finance staff.
  • Supports the Strategic Projects Team with the budgetary management support.
  • Collaborates with the Manager, Budget and Financial Analysis to ensure successful completion of budget process automation and digitization projects.
  • Participates in new financial systems’ evaluation, testing and implementation.
  • Provides training sessions relevant to Millennium Budget and Forecasting Module to end-users.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

  • Four-year degree from a recognized post secondary institution in Finance, Accounting or a related field
  • Professional Accounting designation (CPA, CMA preferred) is required.
  • Degree or relevant training in Data Analytics/Information Systems is highly recommended and preferred.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in financial and/or business analysis, including handling large volumes of data, and a large number of projects and work requests.
  • Demonstrated experience with large and complex cross-functional projects, business analysis, financial and business modeling, data analysis and financial model design skills are required.
  • Experience working with MS Office, including advanced Excel skills (Vlookup, pivot tables, macro, VBA) and MS Teams skills.
  • Knowledge of and experience working with ERP, financial reporting and budgeting systems.
  • Experience in developing complex financial reports and cost allocation models.

  • Understanding of financial and budgeting systems and software.
  • Solid verbal and written English, communication and presentation skills.
  • Customer service-oriented personality, solid analytical skills, excellent work ethics, commitment to task and timeline are essential for the success in this role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Able to travel between campuses for meetings and training on a monthly basis.
