The Sr. Financial Analyst, IS will be responsible for accounting, financial analysis, contract submissions, and process/control improvements in support of the Information Systems and IT Services Department. The position requires strong critical thinking and analytical skill, and the ability to collaborate across teams and levels of management. This position reports into the Manager of IT Finance, who is a member of Refresco North America’s Information Systems department.

Essential Functions:

• Preparation of month-end journal entries, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations for the IT Department in-line with the Refresco Accounting Manual

• Preparation of monthly and quarterly variance schedules, including investigation and explanation of variances

• Preparation of month-end IT General Control support documents and PowerPoint deck

• Assist in the preparation of quarterly and balance of year forecasts, and prepare supporting schedules for each IT Cost Center at the GL line item level

• Work with IT Management on the submission and routing of contract requests in accordance with Refresco’s Contract Management Policy; this involves follow-up and seeking key personnel approvals per the Delegation of Authority.

• Draft and submit capital expenditure requests for IT Initiatives

• Maintain the Refresco IT Contract Tracker, ensure communication to IT Leadership in a timely manner and follow through on evaluating upcoming contract renewals

• Coordinate the Annual SAP Role Review, which serves to ensure appropriateness of SAP Access for Refresco North America employees

• Lead the end-to-end improvement and streamlining of the Refresco North America Hardware procurement process

• Support the improvement of key Information Systems and IT Services processes as well as their associated IT General Controls

• Support implementation of newly acquired facilities into IT Finance processes

• Serve to continually improve IT Finance Processes including, but not limited to, the following areas: month-end close, inventory, budgeting, and controls monitoring

• Prepare ad hoc reports upon request.

• Other tasks as assigned

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Strong financial and analytical skills

• Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles and Internal Controls

• Proactive approach to role and problem solving; solution rather than problem focused.

• Demonstrates ability to deliver communication which is clear, concise, and relevant to audience through appropriate methods and tools to various levels of management.

• Self-motivated, determined with the ability to deal with high levels of complexity and information management

• Appreciates what constitutes good customer service and displays consistent commitment to delivering.

• Can multitask and meet deadlines.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.

• Three (3) to five (5) years relevant work experience in public accounting or industry

• Certified Public Accountant, or currently pursuing highly preferred

• Experience working with IT or in an IT-related industry (e.g. applications, infrastructure)

• Understanding of IFRS, specifically as it relates to Software Capitalization guidance

• Strong understanding of IT General Controls

• General understanding of SAP Security

Travel Requirements:

• Based in Tampa corporate office with minimal travel requirements.
