With the expansion of our operations in the UK, we are now looking for a Senior Fleet Specialist Team Lead who will be responsible for leading our warehouse- and in-field operations in London.YOUR MISSION AT VOIAs a Senior Team Lead, you will manage a Fleet Specialists team and ensure a high quality of service for our users and cities. You do this by ensuring the efficient execution of tasks related to maintaining, repairing, transporting, and repositioning vehicles, as well as swapping batteries. You will divide your time between managerial duties (hiring, training, performance follow-ups of the team) and performing operative tasks (in-warehouse or in-field) based on the business needs of the site.Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Conduct one-on-ones, performance reviews, coaching, and training for Fleet Specialists.
  • Inventory & Asset Management: Oversee spare parts and battery inventory, manage physical assets like vehicles and facilities, and ensure optimal usage.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, manage onboarding, and monitor mandatory training.
  • Incident & Contractor Management: Record and investigate incidents, and oversee repairs and maintenance in the warehouse.
  • 3PL & Van Coordination: Manage daily communication with 3PL partners and oversee operational aspects of vans (tracking devices, not budgeting/planning).
  • Operational Excellence & Fleet Maintenance: Maximize vehicle uptime, perform maintenance, and extend fleet lifetime to maintain high standards.
  • Warehouse & Shift Management: Assist in warehouse operations (receiving, packing, deploying vehicles) and organize shifts to ensure team performance.
  • Recruitment & Training: Interview, train, and engage Fleet Specialists for continuous operations.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety procedures in all activities.

WHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARKWe are looking for a pragmatic and responsible team-player who can fulfil tasks, solve problems independently, and work as a part of a team to find new solutions and reach set goals. In addition to being fluent in English, the right person needs:

  • 2+ years of previous work experience
  • Experience managing a team of people
  • A UK Full UK Driving License with a maximum of 6 points for minor offenses and no major offenses and meet the requirements for our e-Van insurance. The reason for this is you may be required to drive one of our e-Van’s occasionally
  • General understanding of digital work tools (MS-office, G-Suite)

  • Working days: Weekly rotation (Would be expected to work some weekends when needed)
