You will need to be enthusiastic, motivated and a team player.The Children’s outpatient department provides regional and local specialist tertiary clinics for children and young people up to the age of 18. We are 1 of only 5 children’s outpatient departments that see every specialty in excess of fifty thousand, babies and young people a year.As one of the largest acute teaching Trusts in England, we offer learning and development opportunities to help you achieve the career you aspire to.All non-clinical roles may involve a mixture of on site and remote working, Specific details and flexible working options can be discussed as part of the interview process.   • Experienced and competent in additional clinical skills, as per job description.
  • Keyboard skills.

Previous or relevant experience necessaryEssential

  • Proven experience in a caring role.
  • Understanding of acute hospital environment and the role of SHCA.

Desirable

  • Previous HCA experience.
  • Previous experience of working with the general public.

Aptitudes and skills requiredEssential

  • Literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Ability to communicate with wide range of people.
  • Ability to work as a team member.
  • Ability to work under own initiative and prioritise workload
