Description
We are looking for a Senior IT Manager to join our team in Oak Brook, Illinois. This role provides an opportunity to manage and lead IT processes and operations within the organization. The Senior IT Manager will be responsible for a variety of tasks ranging from financial analysis to IT contract administration. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the IT Invoice Processing team and ensure accurate and timely invoice processing.
• Undertake financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting on a regular basis.
• Manage month-end close processes including accruals, journal entries, and invoice support.
• Provide leadership presentations and updates on IT processes and improvements.
• Review IT contracts for legal compliance and accounting policy alignment.
• Lead the IT Services team through resource planning, up-skilling, and recruitment of future talent.
• Collaborate with IT, Project Management, and Procurement teams to resolve any issues related to IT invoicing.
• Oversee the evaluation of actual results versus planned results and influence IT leadership to meet department financial commitments.
• Be responsible for end-to-end management of centralized IT invoicing function.
• Lead annual IT budget planning and provide financial insights to senior IT leadership
Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior IT management role.
• Proven proficiency in Financial Analysis and Financial Reporting.
• Demonstrated experience in Forecasting and managing Month End Close procedures.
• Experience in preparing and managing an Annual Budget.
• Ability to manage invoicing processes and other financial transactions.
• Experience in Project Finance is essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other Business related field is required.
• Ability to develop and implement IT policies and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
