Do you want to work in the interface between our global manufacturing areas and IT and assist with solving the IT challenges of the future in Pharma?

We are looking for an experienced IT Solution Architect who can provide the direction and implementation of new IT solutions, and ensure we continuously develop our collaboration with our global manufacturing sites.

Your new role

In the role you will balance a mix of smaller tasks and larger implementation projects alongside with work related to improving our approach to IT architecture in Lundbeck – to be effective in the role a high degree of collaboration and coordination is required with both internal IT stakeholders and key stakeholders in the business.

The following are covered in the role:

  • Transform business needs into IT requirements for solutions within manufacturing- and packaging lines, facility management and other systems relevant for the manufacturing area.

  • Understand and evaluate Lundbeck’s technical needs, designs systems to meet those needs and oversees their implementation.

  • Design detailed technical solutions to achieve project goals.

  • Keeps up to date about technology related to Application Solutions and informs about trends and development.

  • Create and maintains architecture for the relevant application/system portfolio.

  • Fulfill the role as Solution Architect on key implementation projects (project work)

  • Act as the strategic link between business stakeholders, vendors and Global IT

  • Work with system/application upgrades, OT/equipment integrations as well as large implementation projects typically in GxP regulated environments.

  • Drive and ensure a sufficient level of IT documentation according to defined standards and procedures.

  • Technical understanding of software architecture, project management, business analysis, and comprehensive communication skills to effectively present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Coordinate 2nd level support for incidents related to the applications and systems within the production areas.

Your future team

As our new IT Solution Architect, you will join a highly skilled and motivated team of IT professionals involved in sourcing, implementing, and managing IT solutions to continuously support and improve our production areas.

The team is part of Business IT Delivery within Global IT. Business IT Delivery is our Pharma IT Powerhouse consisting of solutions architects and project managers, partnering closely with key business areas; R&D, Production and Supporting Functions.

Global IT is an organization with approximate 140 colleagues around the globe. We deliver IT and digital solutions while ensuring efficient operations to more than 5300 colleagues across all business areas and geographies. What you likely bring to the team

  • Graduation from university with a degree in Computer Science or other related field(s) preferred or any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working with IT solutions that supports manufacturing areas, likely within pharma or another regulated environment.

  • Knowledge and understanding of the interface between IT/OT.

  • Good understanding of business processes.

  • An ability to take the lead in architecture and solution design in a multi-vendor environment.

  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to coordinate own and other’s deliverables in a project context.

  • Excellent written and verbal English communications skills.
