Finally, your physical wellness is well-catered for with our onsite gym facilities and medical centre.Role Description:Bank of America’s International Asset Finance business provides asset finance solutions to large corporate clients across the EMEA region. International Asset Finance finances a broad range of asset classes including shipping, rail, over the road transport, construction, mining and technology. The IAF team in EMEA is constituted of dedicated originations, transaction management, credit underwriting, risk management, equipment management, pricing, legal and operations professionals in London, Dublin and Frankfurt.The business is seeking to hire a Syndications professional to enable the business to lead multi-bank club and syndicated facilities, maintain portfolio liquidity, validate market pricing and terms and centrally manage financial institution relationships across the EMEA region. The role is critical to driving growth in the business, delivering comprehensive solutions to clients and managing riskResponsibilities:Lead the distribution activities for leasing and asset finance transactions originated in EMEAMaintain investor relationships across EMEA, including arranging regular in-person investor meetingsPrepare teasers, information memorandums, term sheets and other due diligence materials for investorsPrepare and present pricing validation and syndication marketability appraisals to deal approval panelsAttend client meetings to provide market updates on investor appetiteSupport the Head of IAF and senior originators in the team’s efforts to structure, originate and execute leasing and asset finance transactions in EMEA on liquid and market clearing terms;Undertake client research and preliminary desktop credit analysisPrepare internal transaction memos for circulation to various deal approval panelsWork closely with Transaction Management, Pricing, Equipment Management, Legal, Credit and Risk Management to ensure transactions are appropriately vetted, executed and monitoredRegularly coordinate and communicate with a global syndications team in the U.S., EMEA and APACLiaise with Corporate and Investment Banking associates across the bank’s EMEA branch network including Financial Institution coverage bankers.What we are looking for:Undergraduate degreePost graduate degree or qualification in business, economics, accounting or financeMinimum of 7-years professional experience in a financial institutionIntimate knowledge of secured lending products including leases and loansDeep asset finance experience and market knowledgeExperience in, and knowledge of, shipping and transportation financing, large ticket manufacturing and/or structured cash flow based financing is an advantageHigh attention to detail, excellent communication skills, excellent time management skillsProficient in the use of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word and a familiarity with BloombergAccustomed to working in a transaction-based environment with demanding deadlinesFluency in multiple languages is an advantage;Availability to travel within EMEA, on both regular and ad hoc, transaction specific basis.Benefits of working at Bank of America:UKPrivate healthcare for you and your family plus an annual health screen to help you manage your physical wellness with the option to purchase a screen for your partnerCompetitive pension plan, life assurance and group income protection cover if you become unable to work as a result of a disability or health reasons20 days of back-up childcare including access to school holiday clubs and 20 days of back-up adult care per annumThe ability to change your core benefits as well as the option of selecting a variety of flexible benefits to suit your personal circumstances including access to a wellbeing account, travel insurance, critical illness etc.Access to an emotional wellbeing helpline, mental health first aiders and virtual GP services.Access to an Employee Assistance Program for confidential support and help for everyday mattersAbility to donate to charities of your choice directly through payroll and the bank will match your contributionOpportunity to access our Arts & Culture corporate membership program and receive discounted entry to some of the UK’s most iconic cultural institutions and exhibitions.Opportunity to give back to your community, develop new skills and work with new groups of people by volunteering in your local community.Bank of America:Good conduct and sound judgment is crucial to our long term success.
