As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you value collaboration and nurture innovation while working in an energetic team. Your strong foundation in productionizing machine learning models will be valuable in enabling a data-driven culture company-wide. You are expected to work on continuous improvement of our best practices for AI services and ensuring that our models are accurate, reliable, and explainable.What you’ll be doing everyday:Developing and productionizing new machine learning modelsBuilding and documenting APIsImproving the machine learning development & deployment pipelineMaintaining existing machine learning modelsPerforming statistical analysisML Ops and collaboration with DevOpsBuilding internal demos and dashboards of our products to get feedback from different departmentsWhat you bring to the table:5+ years of experience in software engineering or back-end engineering3+ years of experience in productionizing machine learning (ML) systemsIn-depth understanding of researching, designing, developing, and deploying ML systems, models, and schemesHands-on experience of deploying ML models/systems to AWS infrastructureFamiliarity with Amazon Bedrock and working with LLM services is an assetPerforming statistical analysis and using results to improve modelsTraining and retraining ML systems and models as neededExperience with Python with specific focus on frameworks such as FastAPI and Flask as well as Libraries used in Natural Language ProcessingFamiliarity with ML frameworks and librariesExperience of development and deployment with AWS SageMakerStrong analytical skillsAbility to communicate effectively with people who are both highly technical, and non-technical alikeDriven, passionate and creative, and thrives in a fast-paced environmentStrong team-player and ability to work with individual contributors with different levels of experienceIdeally, you also have experience with many of:AWS Machine Learning Speciality CertificateJenkins, CodeBuild, CDK, Helm ChartsAWS API Gateway, CloudFrontData Pipeline, Docker, Kubernetes, New RelicMicroservices, Kinesis, KafkaAbout ApplyBoardApplyBoard empowers students around the world to access the best education.
