You will report to the Regional Head of Business Operations and will partner with the Client and Client Services (CST) leadership and specialist teams to drive operational excellence and innovation.You will work closely with regional and global Business Managers and specialist teams to drive a globally consistent approach, looking for opportunities to consolidate activities and operationalise best practice.Key AccountabilitiesWhat you’ll be doing:

  • Engage with Specialist Teams to drive operational excellence and alignment with best practice ensuring a consistent companywide approach as directed by Regional Business Manager
  • Responsible for production of Monthly and Quarterly Business Review Reporting packs by working closely with business intelligence (BI) specialist teams and subsequent delivery to CST leadership including Regional Head of Business Operations and client. Identify any operational or commercial issues before service review. Validate any new reporting requirements
  • Review Key Performance Indicators and analyse data to identify trends and issues. Review SLA performance and identify root cause analysis of any variances, identify remedial actions and oversee implementation through to resolution
  • Lead and own Forecasts, in flight forecast sentiments, Invoicing, Income accruals, Discretionary spend – working closely with Finance specialist teams and Regional Head of Business Operations to be included in CST MBR and budgeting cycle.
  • Develop account specific client continuous improvement plans as part of overall account plan and lead on implementation.
  • Lead the scope, governance, and compliance of the contract through team activity. Identify and tackle scope creep Ensure team’s compliance to the AMS Risk Management Framework and Account governance framework, including the identification and management of risk
  • Ensure team’s compliance with legislation affecting area of work (e.g., age discrimination, IR35/The Good Work Plan, OFCCP, data management techniques or similar local legislative requirements)
  • Thorough understanding of legislation affecting area of work (e.g., age discrimination, IR35/The Good Work Plan) and ability to guide and advise clients on legislation
  • Responsible for signing off any changes to the People Plan – hiring approvals, promotions, succession planning, restructures, location strategy

  • Demonstrable ability to build a position as a trusted advisor and engage and influence senior stakeholders towards a course of action
  • Demonstrated innovative mindset, open to new ideas, takes calculated risks, encourages diversity of thought and creative thinking within the team. Agile and resilient in response to change and uncertainty. Able to lead a team through significant change
  • Experience driving operational excellence and continuous improvement through successful performance management
  • Experience analysing data with use of metrics, benchmarks, ratios and forecasting techniques. Advanced analytical and logical reasoning skills: able to discern patterns within information and cut through complexity to diagnose root cause of problem
  • Skilled at story telling with data – presenting data driven insights in a succinct and compelling manner
  • Demonstrated capability to manage P & L. Track record of managing complex budgets successfully, driving sizeable cost reductions and efficiency gains
  • Experience of managing matrixed remote teams
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, Power BI or similar visualisation tools

Nice to haves

  • Previous experience in leading business transformation programs – knowledge of lean and agile management, process reengineering and change management
  • Understanding of regional regulatory, compliance and risk implications of business decisions
