What you’ll do

Reporting to the Head of New Car Sales, you will be responsible for leading the various commercial development project across the Commercial Organisation. 

As a part of the Commercial Senior Manager team this role will work with the relevant functional leads to outline, develop and implement new processes and ways of working, as well as optimising the current processes and systems we have in place.

Wit the right growth mindset and a will to challenge the status quo, this role will play an active part in the delivery of the current and future year plans, across a variety of Commercial functions, including but not limited to New Car Sales, Used Car Sales, B2B Fleet Sales, Logistics and Fleet Operations, S&OP and Business Planning, Product and Go To Market and Network Operations.

Your key deliverables will include:

  • Works with the Head of New Car Sales and relevant Commercial Senior Managers to continually evaluate the effectiveness of the function and seeks to improve delivery across the Commercial business.
  • Develops and maintains good relationships with stakeholders.
  • Builds trust across the organisation through building collaborative relationships.
  • Fosters strong links with Central EMEA and Global Specialist Functions as well as with UK NSC.
  • Able to work efficiently through gaining buy in with stakeholders and delivering results through adjacent teams and non-direct reports
  • Sets high standards and performance goals aligned with the VCUK’s objectives and leads others to achieve these goals.
  • Ensures that the Commercial Operations business area is delivering on all strategic objectives.
  • Co-ordinate compliance and consumer activity across the commercial organisation.

  • Credibility and confidence to challenge existing strategies and processes to innovate and drive fresh thinking
  • A ‘completer finisher’ with proven experience of large scale, multi stakeholder project delivery
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
  • A collaborative leader, with experience in building relationships
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good people Management skills
