The team is responsible to generate a pipeline of new revenue generating retail innovation ideas that unlock growth for the business, including e.g. new store formats, retail & omni services and new business models. Some of the initiatives in current portfolio are Like New, clienteling, fits innovation, product personalization etc. The team is responsible for everything from market research, strategy, business modelling, piloting, evaluation and scaling.   • Reporting to the Senior Director, North America Retail Innovation, the Senior Manager, New Services recommends and leads key cross channel strategic programs that will create a runway for growth for lululemon. This happens through regional test & learns that informs global scalability.
  • Develop and deliver a clienteling experience and a value proposition that truly solve our guests’ sweaty problems and add value in every interaction. Continuously learning from previous and existing pilots to optimize the guest experience for our clienteling guests as well as business results.
  • Lead the current 5 employee clienteling pilot team, with high potential for future expansion to up to 50 frontline employees, ensuring smooth operations and gathering insights for continued success and scaling of the program.
  • Continue to iterate and develop a multi-year roadmap for how to scale clienteling to our guests globally, in alignment with our Membership strategy and roadmap.
  • Continue to refine and iterate the business model and financial plan, showcasing how this will be a key contributor to the growth of lululemon in the next 5 years. This includes sales forecasting, identify quantitative and qualitative KPI’s and track actual results against them.
  • Lead a cross-functional SSC team to ensure a synchronized and efficient delivery of clienteling program at scale. Some of the involved teams are IT, Retail operations, Guest Education Centre, Digital, Membership, People & Culture etc.
  • Support the discovery and implementation of new clienteling tools and programs and ensure accountability in achieving the necessary results.
  • Lead the operationalizing from pilot to launch of a North American clienteling program, e.g. of activities are creating new roles, business processes and compensations structures.
  • Manage the clienteling budget; prioritize and monitor investments and track qualitative and quantitative results to ensure spend is within target.
  • Frequent program updates to Senior Leadership Team to secure leadership alignment and visibility on key decisions, prioritizations and program results.
  • Develop a strategy for innovative guest engagement beyond 1:1 clienteling through diverse communication and service channels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • Min 8 years of experience from management consulting, retail/luxury retail sales, and/or retail operations
  • Proven ability to drive positive customer experiences that build loyalty and deliver measurable results
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to influence and enroll cross-functional partners and hold them accountable for deliverables
  • Proven ability to implement and scale new IT systems, processes and initiatives with a positive outcome. You must be able to articulate how to break down business objectives into capabilities and concrete action.
  • Strong verbal and visual communication and storytelling skills; can produce presentations in PowerPoint and present to cross-functional teams and leadership team
  • Ability to work with limited direction, both independently and collaboratively, in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple time sensitive deliverables
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
  • Passion for the fashion industry and knowledge of the luxury market/competitors

Authorization to work in Canada is required for this role.Compensation and Benefits Packagelululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $134,100 – $176,000 CAD annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
