Overview:Senior National Account Manager (Grocery)Zertus UK & IrelandLocation: UK, Home Based with some travel to UK retail customers and factories/officesHours: Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week (09:00 – 17:30)Are you a dynamic, energetic leader with a passion for selling chocolate and snacks? We’re a a top-tier manufacturer in the confectionary and snacking industry and we’re looking for a new Senior National Account Manager to drive sales and margins, and spearhead our strategic agenda with major grocery retailers. Responsibilities:

• Achieve ambitious sales goals within budget.
• Collaborate with the Key Account Controller and Commercial Director to craft and execute a winning growth strategy.
• Negotiate commercial terms to maximise profitability and foster strong partnerships.
• Use your excellent communication skills to drive sales and build stellar relationships with retailers and partners.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive account plans in collaboration with Marketing and NPD teams.
• Work closely with Category and NPD teams to proactively drive product development, boosting Zertus UK’s market share and profitability.
• Identify and seize new growth areas, creating and executing strategic plans.
• Advocate for customer needs to ensure top-notch service and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with demand planning and supply chain teams to maintain a 98.5% Customer Service Level.
• Step in for the Key Account Controller as needed.

Qualifications:

• FMCG background with major UK retail experience.
• Proven track record in sales growth, CPI negotiation, and strategic planning.
• Proven track record of developing successful strategic account plans.
• P&L management and delivery.
• Successfully managed and implemented Joint Business Plans (JBP’s).
• Excellent communication, organisation, and multitasking skills.
• Energetic, outgoing, and tenacious personality.
• Highly numerate and commercially astute with branded and private label experience.
• Leadership experience in the confectionary/snacking category.
