My client in Kent is looking to source an experienced DM Town Planner with leadership experience, to join their Planning Team.This position is to cover maternity leave, and the hiring manager is ideally seeking a start date in early December for a period of 9 months (with option to extend up to 12 months if required).
The role reports to the Head of DM, and involves managing a small team of planning officers, as well as dealing with a small caseload of planning applications – a JD is available upon request.Hybrid working is offered, however the hiring manager is looking for a contractor who is able to attend the office on a semi-regular basis, to complete site visits, face-to-face meetings/workshops and consultation with the local plan.
