This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work on a 0-to-100 project for 2025 where you will be touching all the critical touchpoints of our product.The mission of our design team is: * To show what the future could be to inspire imaginations. You need to think and imagine the experience that comes in 2 years, whilst managing internal stakeholder expectations

  • Work with the teams across Simplyhealth to bring the dream into reality, preserving the strongest elements that make it unique, while accommodating the constraints of reality
  • Work with the execution teams to ensure the design work is brought to life

Key responsibilitiesReporting to the Head of Product Design, you’ll have 2 main responsibilities:

  • Lead the design efforts across various digital products of Denplan. You’ll be the driving force behind the products given to you, collaborating with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
  • Be the driving force behind the design and evolution of our UI across both Denplan and Simplyhealth and the building of a design system to be used across the organisation.

About YouWe’d love to hear from you if you’re an experienced, creative UX and/or UI Designer, with a strong portfolio that showcases your successful projects.*Above all, we’re looking for someone who brings:

  • Visual excellence – you’ll be designing products that aren’t just functional… they are delightful!
  • Drive – working in a small team, you’ll be given the autonomy to independently own and drive consumer experience. Initiative, vision and a tendency to challenge the status quo to achieve excellence is essential.
  • Working at pace – the ability to iterate and prototype efficiently as you go, working effectively on your feet

In terms of skills and experience, you’ll also need to have:

  • Proficiency in creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity design mock-ups
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma
  • A strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills (both in your team and cross-functionally)
  • Usability testing experience
