It’s an opportunity to work with a market-leading business to explore new opportunities for us and influence global retailers and brands.Joining our growing Design team, you’ll work with world class and passionate people to unlock the value of data for our Retail and Brand clients through our portfolio of digital solutions powered by data science.What you’ll be working onA hands-on design and innovation practitioner, you will shape our products into usable and useful experiences with user needs and business goals at the forefront.Working in an agile, global team, you will work closely with designers, engineers, data scientists and product managers to solve problems in unique ways. Your communication and collaboration excellence will be essential to avoid siloed thinking and efforts.You will support the Product Design Principal and Product Design Manager in defining standards and guidelines across design and research, ensuring quality and consistency in product experience.A strategic thinker, you will apply design attention to the small details and the big outcomes, setting service KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to ensure product design positively impacts business outcomes such as customer satisfaction, financial performance, and growth.You will guide our engineering teams in the execution of the experience, communicating vision, designs and explaining decisions.Key accountabilities

  • Provide design leadership within product delivery teams working closely with product managers, UX researcher, engineers, and data scientists.
  • Lead the creation of user-centric experiences that meet a high-quality, industry leading standard.
  • Partner with product managers to translate requirements into user flows, wire frames, mock-ups and prototypes that lead to an intuitive user experience.
  • Assist Product Design Principal or Product Design Manager with managing the design work within a product space, ensuring there are clear and solid communications with other teams.
  • Validate designs with end users via common research best practices and techniques.
  • Present designs and validated findings back to team members and stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Evangel systematization and reusability when designing your experiences. Thinking of how you can lead the componentization and contribution of design decisions back to a design system.
  • Articulate the value of design in your daily work with others outside of design.
  • Lead design talks and process improvement workshops in partnership with Product Design Principal and Manager.
  • Support development and tracking of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for product.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate fresh ideas into design practices.
  • Continue to refine, learn new skills, and grow yourself as a designer.

What we expect from you

  • Experienced in user experience design, creating, designing, validating, and measuring products experience.
  • Ideally a degree in UX Design, Product Design, Human-Centred Design, Graphic Design, Communication Design etc.
  • Ideally an understanding of coding languages and ability to communicate effectively with developers, specifically with regards to user interfaces like HTML, CSS and comparable languages.
  • A portfolio of design work/case studies.
  • Expert skills with design software such as Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong practice of user-centred design methodologies.
  • Strong storytelling skills in communicating to stakeholders.
  • Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and incorporating user feedback into the design process.
  • Expertise in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design, interaction design, and other relevant design disciplines.
  • Confidence in planning and conducting ideation sessions and workshops leveraging design thinking methods.
  • Ability to articulate design decisions and strategies to both design and non-design stakeholders.
  • Understanding of business metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Experience handling iterative design throughout an agile development process.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard design tools and technologies.
