You bring expertise to your jobs to be done and problems to be solved, ensuring a balance between end users and enterprise objectives. You understand retail lending, people, process, technology, and innovation as well as the fine thread that binds all these together to drive value for our clients.You will work closely with experts in product management, design, research and development and inspire others to build experiences clients love. You build actionable plans to manage though the product lifecycle through listening to clients, aligning with senior partners and leaders in both Everyday Financial Services and Private Banking, driving both delivery and optimization of products our clients need. You will help maximize the potential and adoption of retail lending products by establishing performance benchmarks that drive KPIs and growth.You’ll be curious and understand trends, anticipate market needs, monitor the competition, and ensure ATB is always leading for our clients and Team Members.Accountabilities

  • Gain a deep understanding of ATB client experience, identify and help fill product gaps, and generate new ideas which grow market share, improve client experience, and help drive growth and revenue
  • Lead the end-to-end product development life cycle: concept, business case, requirements, development, delivery and refinements for Banking Products
  • Create buy-in for product vision with key internal partners
  • Create and maintain product strategy, vision and roadmap for iterations against client and business outcomes
  • Drive product improvements or new product launch including working cross-functionally with relevant teams and stakeholder groups to support throughout the product lifecycle
  • Partner with Everyday Financial Services and Private Banking to develop product pricing and product positioning strategies
  • Act as enterprise SME on lending products or product line; accountable for delivering annual business objectives
  • Be accountable for delivery of client & business outcomes; discovers, designs, develops and manages activities for a specific product or group of products through entire lifecycle
  • Deliver feasible, viable and desirable client experience for product and/or product line by leveraging data insights, partners and stakeholders
  • Manage multiple products and be the “go to” person for your products including breaking down goals into tactical steps to demonstrate value and learn to inform future goals

Skills, experience & requirementsCore Technical Skills

  • 3+ years of product management experience, preferably on core banking products
  • Deep understanding of lending experience, preferably retail lending
  • Experience developing product strategy and effectively communicating to key stakeholders
  • Experience in Agile and Waterfall organizations
  • Strong business acumen
  • Experience with tools such as Smartsheets, Tableau, JIRA, MIRO and asset
  • Experience leading and facilitating workshops
  • Previous experience delivering capabilities related to retail lending

Accreditation

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, computer science or equivalent degree/experience or prior experience as an Retail Lending professional, product manager or product designer in a company required
  • AIPMM certified, or equivalent experience preferred
