About the Role As a Senior Product Manager, you will own a Product or Product features, and lead on Product domain strategy. You will develop a commercially useful product strategy and lead project execution based on qualitative and quantitative customer understanding.

Responsibilities

  • Product execution – Owning the development and delivery of commercially successful claims products into the motor claims ecosystem of the UK&I insurance marketplace

  • Customer led – Maintaining a market and customer focus to support the development and launch of claims products; including interacting with the motor claims industry to bring market insights back into the build of products and specifically engaging with customers to understand their challenges and gather requirements on key customer needs.

  • Delivery focused – Leading product delivery; including managing the Go to Market (GTM) process and product marketing lifecycle. Includes translating customer needs and prioritising deliverables for product design and build through to the development of pricing strategies and launch activities. Includes engaging with multiple internal teams from across the business to support GTM activities being achieved.

  • Ambassador – Acts as product ambassador which includes supporting the roll out of new products externally through clear GTM launch plans. Includes providing input and expertise to Marketing and PR for the creation of communication plans, and acting as the spokesperson in industry to champion the products e.g. with media or at industry events. Acting as product ambassador extends to within the business also, including communicating product plans and progress.

  • Leadership alignment – Managing senior stakeholder engagements for alignment with leadership and to help shape and influence critical decisions where senior input is required.

  • Measuring success – Owning objectives and metrics for managing product performance and associated monitoring activities across financial and non-financial measures to ensure that product efforts move metrics in a positive direction.

    Requirements

  • Claims understanding – Experience of working in the motor claims ecosystem of the UK&I insurance marketplace, with an understanding of customer needs and priorities being advantageous

  • Customer-facing – Experienced in presenting at, and attending industry events, and hosting/facilitating customer workshops to capture product requirements to feed into the product build process.

  • Delivery focused – Experienced in managing data and analytics products from ideation through to launch, including full management of the go to market process and launch plans, demonstrating prioritisation skills and attention to detail throughout.

  • Independent worker – Able to take responsibility for own projects, making decisions and recommendations based on data with a real passion and commitment to keeping the customer at the heart of every product decision.

  • Relationship management – Able to network, build and maintain relationships, both externally in industry and with customers, and internally across all parts of the organisation.

  • Championning products – Able to champion products responsible for with all audiences, external and internal, and demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.
