The Product Marketing team aims to be in the London office every Thursday to connect (optional) with the wider Marketing team present on the last Thursday of every month (required). There is an occasional need to attend offsites, etc on a more ad-hoc basis, however we can be flexible on this.Location – This role is based at our London Head Office campus. Please note, any cost incurred as a result of travel to the office is the responsibility of the successful candidate. There is no travel allowance for this role.About the role:As an experienced customer focussed and commercially driven Financial Services Senior Marketing Executive, you will support the marketing performance and development of one or more of the JLFS products across Credit, Banking or Insurance.Working with your team, you will support the development and delivery of your product(s) go-to-market and growth marketing strategies to meet ambitious business targets through both always-on and campaign activity, working closely with your Product Marketing lead and channel owners as well as your Commercial and Product counterparts to maximise performance.You will demonstrate knowledge of the financial services sectors, products and associated regulation, demonstrating best in practice.Key responsibilities:Supporting the creation of the go-to-market and BAU annual marketing strategy and creative direction for your JLFS product(s), utilising customer and market insight to align to both JLF and wider Partnership customer plans.Working with the wider Product Marketing team to develop and activate effective multi-channel campaigns by creating great briefs rooted in customer insight and outcomes working with relevant channels and agencies.Support your team to develop the creative wrapper and proposition for your product to ensure compelling identities that engage with customers and add value to our brand which are compliant at all times.You will support your team to ensure all activity uses the correct customer segmentation to ensure effective targeting that aligns to the customer strategy (new/existing customer mix).You will be aware of the trading performance of your product alongside channel owners and Commercial / Product counterparts to drive growth of your product(s).Help deliver a high standard of compliant creative output that promotes features and benefits in a compelling and distinctly John Lewis way.Help to ensure there are rigorous and iterative activity plans and critical paths in place and communicated with stakeholders that align to business goals.What will you be doing?Delivery of targeted campaign activity and optimisation of performance.Understanding of performance, feeding into the necessary reports.Work with your team to ensure marketing activity for product(s) is on time and within budget.Ensure all work adheres to financial promotion regulation, using Asana and Diligent tools to track approvals and leaning into your team and relevant stakeholders where expert knowledge and understanding is required.Work with relevant agencies to ensure they have what they need to deliver the quality of work that’s expected.You will build knowledge of the market and key competitor activity in your product area and wider Financial Services sector.Essential skills you’ll need:Experience of delivering marketing plans linked to commercial, brand and customer outcomes.
