Community Operations accelerates Amazon’s business growth by improving the health of relationships in communities where we operate. We do this by amplifying the voice of our communities to Amazon leaders with data and building solutions to earn community trust. Community Operations is a global and all operations (Customer Fulfillment, Sort Centers, all Last Mile) support organization that focuses on the responsibility we have with the scale of our operation on the communities we serve.

We are looking for a Senior Program Manager who is excited about making a difference in our communities making sure that Amazon is a good neighbor focused on minimizing our impact from physical buildings, traffic, parking issues, noise, light pollution and litter. This role will be responsible for preventing these issues from occurring, proactively finding them and resolving them with tested resolutions partnering with other corporate teams.

Key job responsibilities

• Analyze data of community issues and create a recommendations how to prevent or resolve for the future.

• Design processes that scale across all operations (First, Middle and Last Mile).

• Create business cases partnering with Finance on why projects should get prioritized by partner teams.

• Write documents on new process recommendations.

• Build our program timelines and manage critical paths with common mechanisms like flashes or business reviews.

• 15% travel per quarter is required.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree

• Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

• Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

• Experience in program or project management

• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a matrixed organization
