Amazon Intermodal is looking to hire a Senior Programme Manager to design the network for Amazon to go via Rail in a reliable, fast, efficient, and carbon friendly manners.

This position is based out of our London Corporate Office, with the flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week in line with Amazon’s current flexible work guidance. Amazon encourages open communication about unique needs for flexible arrangements. The role will include travel up to 15% of the time.

A day in the life
As a Senior Programme Manager at Amazon, you’ll lead transformative, data-driven initiatives that drive strategic improvements across the organization. Leveraging your exceptional project management skills, you’ll define and execute efficient plans to address complex challenges with creativity and innovation. Your responsibilities will extend beyond process optimizations, as you’ll also contribute to enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion. Key duties include reviewing performance with internal and external partners, tracking expansion progress, building business cases, and collaborating cross-functionally to drive operational excellence.

Amazon’s rail operations play a critical role in supporting the company’s growing retail and logistics footprint. The team is responsible for planning and executing efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable rail movements between Amazon’s fulfillment and transportation hubs.
