You will thrive in this environment if you are able to design and execute experiments, perform data management activities, troubleshoot technical issues, identify, and communicate issues/problems, and if you are a team player who is ambitious for patients and focused on doing the right thing.In this position you will be based at either our Ware UK or Stevenage UK sitesIn this role you will

  • Design protocols and execute experiments and interpret results independently. Includes release testing, stability testing, method development, validation and transfer.
  • Perform data management and data interpretation tasks including recording results effectively in a laboratory notebook.
  • Prepare oral or written summary of results with interpretation to share data with small teams.
  • Comply with cGMP and Safety regulations and GSK policies for data integrity and documentation management. Support for qualification and maintenance of analytical instrument to comply with cGMP standards.

Why you?Basic Qualifications & Skills:We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • BSc (or equivalent) in Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related discipline.
  • Experience with interrogating, troubleshooting, interpreting and trending analytical data
  • Technical knowledge and practical experience in multiple analytical techniques

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:Please note the following skills are not necessary, just preferred, if you do not have them, please still apply:

  • Knowledge and/or experience with data analytic and visualisation tools
  • Experience with writing technical reports, protocols and/or communication of technical data
  • Analytical Laboratory experience within a cGMP environment. Experience in method validation and method transfers.
