We are looking for a seasoned Scrum Master who will be a key driver to make this happen.Responsibilities:Engage with stakeholders to accurately report progress, risks, successes, and failuresMaintain a close working relationship with the product owner, scrum team, and other stakeholders such as product end usersLead working session meetings to discuss scope, schedule and requirements with product ownersHelp Product Owner with prioritization, risk management, and scopeManage product quality, releases, and deliveryConduct user research, draft user stories and meet with users to validate and enhance themBreakdown the roadmap into epics and group user stories under themWork with customers and developers to write user stories which are independent, negotiable, valuable, estimable, small and testableManage lightweight, living planning documents, like an Agile Product RoadmapConduct all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, daily Scrum Meetings, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint RetrospectivesResponsible for ensuring user stories include validation criteria which reasonably covers all areas necessary for complete testing of the new functionalityMaintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholdersOther duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree required (degree in Computer Science strongly preferred)5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Product Manager for a software development teamCandidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearanceCandidate must reside in the US, be authorized to work in the US, and work must be performed in the USMust have lived in the US 3 full years out of the last 5 yearsPreferred Qualifications:Master’s degree preferredHands-on experience leading multiple Scrum teams in a variety of contexts (different team sizes, different organizations, different cultures, co-located vs. distributed, etc)Track record of continued and recent education in Scrum, including training, conferences, user groups, self-study, etc. First level Scrum Master certification (PSM I, CSM) preferredKnowledge of other Agile methodologies like KanbanExperience with Agile techniques: User Stories, TDD, BDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Continuous Delivery, Automated TestingExpertise with JIRA, Confluence, and the Atlassian suiteExperience using JIRA’s Agile performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvementKnowledge of Human Centered Design approach for developing digital servicesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly skilled in team facilitation, conflict resolution, implementing best practices, team empowerment and creating a culture of transparencyExperience working in the healthcare industryHands on Business Analyst ExperienceFederal Government contracting work experiencePrior experience working remotely full-timeJob Location: This position requires that the job be performed in the United States.
