Together, we can transform healthcare and enable smarter care for millions of people.Location: REMOTEThe purpose of this role is to understand requirements/business cases/user stories and apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis to design, develop and test the application meeting the acceptance criteria. This involves understanding and applying one or more software or scripting language. This may involve developing new applications or enhancing and maintaining existing applications.You’d be joining the Collaborate development team, with a primary focus on developing and maintaining user-facing web applications, including our company’s web portal. This involves working in Angular and TypeScript, as well as C# and .NET Core, with some SQL development to top it off. As a developer on one of the company’s primary user-facing web application, it is an exciting and challenging (in the good ways!) role. From time to time you may be expected to interact with outside clients for setting up connections to and from their own web platforms, as well as research and resolve with any production issues as they arise.What you will contribute:

  • Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
  • Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
  • Work with teammates to prioritize, design, build, test, deploy, troubleshoot, document, and support technology solutions using industry and Veradigm-identified best practices
  • Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
  • Complete all necessary software and non-software components in the timelines as defined by the Scrum Team/Project Manager
  • Escalate product issues and suggest product improvements
  • Build expertise and owns at least one key feature or module
  • Contribute or develop proof of concepts as needed
  • Review and signs-off of others work as per peer-review process
  • Collaborate with outside technical teams to support and maintain inbound and outbound single-sign-on (SSO) connections
  • Perform a wide range of other ancillary duties in support of production runs and other company initiatives as necessary

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Technical / Business experience Required
  • 4-7 years relevant work experience
  • Experience with C# or other similar object-oriented language(s) and frameworks
  • Experience with Angular and TypeScript, or other similar web development language(s) and frameworks
  • Strong SQL skills required with some Database Administration experience preferred
  • Experience implementing single sign-ons preferred
  • Azure experience preferred
  • Snowflake experience preferred
  • Health IT industry experience preferred
