The team is based across Warwick and flexible arrangements are supported and encouraged, although there will be a requirement to attend the office as and when required.Job PurposeWe are currently recruiting for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist for Group Functions on a 6-month contract.This role will see you partnering with IT&D, providing effective recruitment advice and strategies to deliver the business area’s people requirements.You will partner with the business to source, attract, select and recruit high quality candidates, while enhancing our employer brand. Managing end to end recruitment of experienced roles including posting of requisitions, sourcing candidates, screening applications, managing hiring manager relationships and negotiating offers.The role can is based in Warwick, and we continue to offer hybrid working from the officeand home.Key Accountabilities

  • Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their hiring needs, develop a thorough understanding of job requirements, and establish strong relationships with hiring managers.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals, to identify and attract qualified candidates for open positions.
  • Candidate Screening: Conduct thorough candidate screenings to assess qualifications, skills, and cultural fit. This may involve reviewing resumes, conducting phone interviews, and administering assessments.
  • Interviewing and Selection: Coordinate and conduct interviews with candidates, evaluate their suitability for the role, and provide feedback to both candidates and clients. Collaborate with hiring managers to make informed selection decisions.
  • Talent Acquisition Strategy: Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent, including building talent pipelines, attending job fairs, and utilizing employer branding techniques.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, clients, and other stakeholders. Provide exceptional customer service throughout the recruitment process.
  • Negotiation and Offer Management: Facilitate salary negotiations and manage the offer process, ensuring a smooth transition from candidate selection to onboarding.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations, maintain accurate candidate and client records, and adhere to data protection and confidentiality guidelines.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to provide insights and recommendations for talent acquisition strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes, tools, and techniques to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Generate reports and analyse recruitment metrics to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide insights to clients and stakeholders.

Knowledge, Experience needed.

  • IT&D Knowledge: A strong understanding of IT&D functions, processes, and best practices is essential for effectively assessing candidate qualifications and matching them with IT&D roles.
  • Sourcing and Networking: Proven experience in sourcing and networking to identify and attract top IT&D talent. This includes utilizing various channels such as job boards, social media, professional networks, and industry events.
  • Candidate Assessment: Ability to assess candidate skills, experience, and qualifications relevant to IT&D roles. This includes evaluating their knowledge of IT&D strategies, contract management, supplier relationship management, and negotiation skills.
  • Relationship Building: Strong relationship-building skills to engage with clients and candidates, establish rapport, and maintain long-term partnerships. This includes excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Market Knowledge: Stay updated on IT&D industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies. This knowledge helps in understanding client requirements, identifying suitable candidates, and providing valuable insights to clients.
  • Interviewing and Selection: Conduct effective interviews, evaluate candidate competencies, and make informed selection decisions. This includes assessing IT&D-specific skills, behavioral competencies, and cultural fit.
  • Negotiation Skills: Proficiency in negotiating salary packages, contract terms, and other employment-related aspects. Strong negotiation skills are essential when working with both clients and candidates.
  • Time Management and Organization: Ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Excellent time management and organizational skills are critical for success in a fast-paced recruitment environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Paying attention to detail is crucial in reviewing resumes, conducting screenings, and ensuring accuracy in documentation and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Ethical and Professional Conduct: Adhere to ethical standards, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive information with professionalism and integrity.
