• Purpose-Led Fintech Startup in Bristol
• £50,000 – £60,000 + Bens
• Remote First w/ Monthly Meet-ups in Bristol
• 16 Month Fixed Term Contract

Are you a Senior UX/UI Designer with a passion for impactful design looking to work in a purpose-led environment?Here at SR2, we are excited to be supporting one of our longest-standing scale-up clients in Bristol, who are hiring a Senior UI Designer to join them in a 16 month fixed term contract. They have a truly wonderful culture, where employees are highly trusted and given lots of flexibility – work/life balance is very important to them and ensuring employees have that.Whilst this is a short-term role, it’s an opportunity to make impactful design decisions!About the RoleIn this role, you’ll work to enhance product interfaces, support feature rollouts, and help expand and take ownership of their design system. You’ll have the chance to contribute to exciting new products, play a key role in adapting their platform for international markets. You’ll love this opportunity if you are someone who thrives within a highly autonomous working environment.As their current Head of Design transitions on maternity leave, we’re looking for someone who can bring expertise in UI, maintain their own design system, and work cross-functionally with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders. Ideally we are looking for someone who can start ASAP, however we appreciate some candidates will have notice periods to work.What We’re Looking For

• Strong UI skills with a foundation in UX to inform design decisions (if they had to choose the preference would be UI skills)
• Hands-On Design System – Prior experience maintaining or developing design systems, ideally in smaller, hands-on teams.
• Ability to work independently while checking in with cross-functional team members regularly.
• Skills in Figma and Adobe: Are must haves!
• Experience within Financial Services/Fintech would be a big bonus (especially within a smaller sized business)
