DESCRIPTIONAmazon is looking for an entrepreneurial Senior Vendor Manager who will own the P&L and relationships with some of the largest brands in the Wireless space for Amazon Canada. The Senior Vendor Manager will utilize a wide range of skills and work across major functional areas such as inventory management, marketing, merchandising, pricing, operations, and finance to drive the performance of vendor partners.As a Senior Vendor Manager, you will be accountable for business results across the vendors and categories you manage. Your direct responsibility will be to manage performance of the product portfolio including developing vendor relationships, negotiating terms and contracts, expanding product selection, setting prices, setting inventory forecasts, developing marketing programs, driving sales and margin improvements, and creating a best-in-class customer experiences.The successful candidate will be able to take their broad skill-set and experience across multiple facets of retail to drive a successful business. They will be able to deliver results at both a strategic and tactical level across all aspects of the business, innovate and overcome hurdles, and achieve profitable long-term growth. They will also have strong verbal and written communication skills and work effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.Key job responsibilities
